Cementing WIRED Partnership at State Level

To recognize and cement the collaborative relationship between Montana State agencies involved in the WIRED Montana Agro-Energy Plan, the Governor of Montana issued an executive order on February 15, 2007 establishing the WIRED-Montana’s Agro-Energy Plan – Agency Cooperation Agreement.

This directive institutionalizes the coordination and cooperation that exists between Montana’s Department of Labor and Industry, Department of Commerce, Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education, Governor’s Office and Department of Agriculture to further advance the vision of the WIRED initiative.  The executive order also seeks to ensure continuity and sustainability to the Montana WIRED initiative beyond its initial three year time frame.
